Domestic bathrooms, shower rooms and toilet extraction / ventilation is used to remove moist air, odors, and airborne contaminants from these rooms. Correctly sited and installed extraction is essential to prevent mold growth, dampness, and structural damage from excessive humidity.
🔧 Types of extraction systems we install
- Wall-Mounted Extractor Fans
- Installed through an external wall.
Most common in domestic properties, this requires a core hole drilling through. Normally activated manually by a light switch, pull cord or via a humidity sensor built into the extractor.
Ceiling-Mounted Extractor Fans
Often ducted to an external vent (roof or soffit). This option requires a hole cutting out of the ceiling and insulated ducting run to the external vent. Ideal when external walls aren't available.
Inline (Ducted) Fans
Installed in the loft or ceiling void. This option comes with inbuilt downlights on the grill. This option requires a hole cutting out of the ceiling and insulated ducting run to the external vent. Usually quieter, as the motor is installed away from the room.
